Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette is a Canadian was born on June 1 1974, in Ottawa. Alanis' Greek is a female version of the surname Alan's father had. Her mother's name's Georgia and there are two brothers named Chad as well as Wade (Alanis' Twin). When she was just 6 she started learning to play piano. Then, at 21 her first guitar lesson, she was a musician. Alanis recorded a 1986 single called Fate Stay with My (b aspect: Find The Right Man). She recorded two albums as a dance-pop artist from Canada: Alanis (1991) and Now Is The Time (1992). After turning 18 she made the move from the city of New York, to Toronto in Canada, where collaborations with musicians and songwriters failed. Glen Ballard was the producer/songwriter she picked in the year 1994. Glen previously had worked alongside Aretha Frankin Michael Jackson and Barbra Strreisand. Her move to LA after turning 19. Madonna's Maverick Records released the song "Jagged Little Pill" on June 13th in 1995. Alanis's songs were autobiographical.
