Alanis Morissette is a Canadian was born on June 1 1974, in Ottawa. Alanis' Greek is a female version of the surname Alan's father had. Her mother's name's Georgia and there are two brothers named Chad as well as Wade (Alanis' Twin). When she was just 6 she started learning to play piano. Then, at 21 her first guitar lesson, she was a musician. Alanis recorded a 1986 single called Fate Stay with My (b aspect: Find The Right Man). She recorded two albums as a dance-pop artist from Canada: Alanis (1991) and Now Is The Time (1992).
