Jill Hennessy
The resident of Edmonton, Alberta has a mixed ancestry of Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline is her twin sister, and is an actor. Growing up, Jill became fluent in several languages, including Italian, French and Spanish. At the age of twelve, older, Jill began her journey into acting. Her acting career began in Toronto in the role of an assistant for David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her sister. She then studied improv-comedy at Second City with Deb Kimmet. After relocating from New York, Claire signed the two-year contract with Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. The three years she spent on the show, she also spent time performing in feature films, such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). The next few years she was offered roles in a number of forgettable movies however, in 1999 she was cast as a lead in the micro-series uremberg in a role with Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major series were set to be released. Her first lead role was in the NBC crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007 for her work to the series she was recognized by Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series". In 2000, she was married to her co-star Paolo Mastropietro. The couple has two children. In 2007, she was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame.
