Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian actress. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress in the Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. The actress fluently speaks French, German and English. Her mother was a violinist and her father is a theater professor in one of Romania's best acting schools. Won the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award during the young Actor Gala Mangalia. In 2008, she was recognized as a European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. She taught of the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for the duration of four years. bAnamaria is an Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress from Romanian descent, made her screen debut in the British-Canadian television film Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her performance in this film. The role she played in the Romanian art-film 4 months, 3 Weeks, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days is remembered as well. It was a huge success and won numerous accolades, such as an award from the European Film Award Best Actress to London Film Critics. In 2007, she starred in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 weeks si 2 zile (4 months, 3 weeks and 2 Days) by Cristian Mungiu. The film received the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other awards (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI prize). Also, she appeared as the child character in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. She appeared in 2008 as Yasim Angwar, the BBC Five-episode Miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Later she as the role of Irma's German Aunt in Fury the film, which came out in 2014.
