LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on December 30, 1984 is an American professional player of the basket that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) within the National Basketball Association. King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's best players. He's often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most popular player. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He also has the second most points in his career and is seventh in career assists. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. James was also named to be on the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. Ten NBA Finals, the most of any player in history. He was a part of eight consecutively from 2011 to 2018. In 2021, James was named to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the only to be the first player from NBA history to rack up 10,000 or more career points as well as assists. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in the city he grew up in, Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a possible NBA superstar. He was a pro-prep and was first selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie of The year, he swiftly established himself as a leading player in the NBA winning the NBA's MVP Award for 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure a award with Cleveland, and he was released with the status of an "free agent" in 2010. This move was made in the TV special The Decision.
